Pooja Hegde turned down lead role opposite Sooraj Pancholi
Just one film old Bollywood actress Pooja Hegde, who made her Bollywood debut opposite Hrithik Roshan in Ashutosh Gowariker’s “Mohenjo Daro” has recently turned down a lead role opposite Sooraj Pancholi.
The film is titled “Allah Ke Banday”, directed by Faruk Kabir.
Reportedly the reason for saying no to this film is Sooraj was not a big enough star for her to work with.
While Sooraj made his Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s production “Hero” in 2015, which did not leave a mark at the box-office and he garnered a lot of negative publicity because of his involvement in ex-girlfriend Jiah Khan’s death, Pooja began her acting career long back.
Pooja was second runner up in 2010, Miss India Universe pageant.
She made her film debut in South with Mysskin’s Tamil superhero film “Mugamoodi” in 2012.
